Sammio
Sammio is a 60 square metre two-storey round-log villa on an island of Lake Saimaa in Liimattala, Puumala. The cottage gets its name from its precise location, Sammiosaari. A road crosses the narrow strait that separates the island from the mainland. Downstairs there is a living room‑cum‑kitchen, a dressing room, a toilet, a washroom with a shower, and a wood-heated sauna. Upstairs there is a lounge with a TV, beds and a balcony. The island also has a sheltered grill and an outbuilding, and a jetty and shore facing south. Pets are just as welcome to stay at Sammio as people.
Final cleaning is included in the price. When leaving, simply put the dishes in the dishwasher, and the rubbish and recyclable materials in the bins provided for them.
Although at Saimaa the water is clean, it may not be potable. Drinking water can be fetched from a well about half a km away, or you can bring your own.
